How 2xN conceived, built and launched the branding and website for Polyretic.

When Andrew from Polyretic approached us, he had a clear ambition: to become a visible leader in sustainable polymer supply. But his online identity didn’t reflect the mission. Andrew needed a brand and site that spoke not just of plastics, but of purpose - precision, transparency, circularity.

1. Discovery & Strategy

We began with a deep dive. We sat with Andrew to understand his values, goals, capabilities, and audience. What do their clients care about? Which values do they trust? How is Polyretic different from commodity plastics suppliers?

From there we defined a brand positioning: “Precision polymers for a sustainable future.” This phrase would guide visual, verbal, and strategic choices.

We also mapped key user journeys: prospective clients (industrial buyers, manufacturers), suppliers, and site visitors exploring sustainability credentials. What content would convince them? What trust signals would they need?

2. Visual Identity & Brand Language

With positioning in hand, we crafted a visual identity. The core attributes we aimed for:

  • Precision & technical quality — clean lines, structured layouts, subtle geometry
  • Sustainability & responsibility — an eco-centric palette, open, transparent visual treatments
  • Modern professionalism — avoid clichés of “green” motifs, land on refined, rigorous design

We created a logo, color palette, typographic system, iconography, and imagery style. We defined a tone of voice: confident yet accessible; scientific without jargon overload.

Next, we built a brand guideline: rules for logo usage, colour usage, image treatments, spacing, and tone. This ensured consistency across touch-points.

3. Website Design & UX

We designed wireframes and prototypes to test and refine layout, navigation, and content hierarchy. Our guiding principle: every page should clarify who Polyretic is, what they do, why they do it, and how to engage.

We focused on:

  • Clear hero messaging (“Precision polymers for a sustainable future”) immediately visible
  • A streamlined menu (Home, Our Mission, Products, Become a Supplier, Contact) keeping user paths simple
  • Trust or proof elements — metrics, expertise, experience, supplier networks
  • Calls to action (Get Started, Become a Supplier) placed strategically
  • Mobile responsiveness & performance optimization

4. Content & Messaging

We worked closely with Polyretic to write site content that aligns with the brand voice, is SEO-aware, and speaks to target audiences. We crafted the “About / Mission” section, product overviews, supplier pitches, and contact messaging.

Importantly, we emphasised transparency: highlighting recycled vs. non-recycled polymers, sourcing practices, and impact goals.

5. Development & Launch

Once designs were approved, the site was built on a modern WordPress website. We ensured:

  • Fast load times
  • Clean, semantic code
  • SEO best practices (meta tags, schema, alt text, etc.)
  • Content editing flexibility so Polyretic’s team could update products, images, and messaging

After staging, testing, and QA (cross-browser, mobile, performance, accessibility), we launched the site.

6. Post-Launch & Brand Rollout

The new brand and site became the centerpiece for Polyretic’s marketing. We helped with:

  • Email / signature templates
  • Social visuals aligned with new brand (e.g. LinkedIn posts)
  • PDF brochures, pitch decks
  • Ongoing website maintenance & content updates

Outcome — A unified presence with purpose.
Today the Polyretic site opens with “Precision polymers for a sustainable future” and reflects their mission, expertise, and values. Their identity now matches their ambition: confident, responsible, clear.
